COVID-19 Impact

According to analysts, the impact of Covid 19 and the subsequent lockdowns was only temporary on Bajaj Finance Limited. The company announced that it was business-to-business (B2B) and auto finance businesses that were most affected due to the strict lockdowns in a majority of states. However, other lines of businesses were largely unaffected. Bajaj Finance reported an impact of Rs 4,000-5,000 crore hit to its assets under management (AUM) growth plan for FY22 on account of the problems and disruption caused by the pandemic.
