As per the BSE holiday list 2022, there are 13 trade holidays in total in addition
to Saturday and Sunday. These are the Nifty holidays, days when trade will not happen in 2022. There are 3
sensex holidays in the month of August and October in 2022, whereas April and March have 2 Nifty holidays each.
Muhurat trading will be held on 24th October, 2022 as per the Indian stock market holiday list, 2022.

Similarly as per MCX holidays 2022 list, the morning session will be closed for
trading on all 13 trade holidays whereas the markets will be open for trading in commodities in the evening
session for market holidays like Mahashivratri, Holi, Ambedkar Jayanti/ Mahavir Jayanti, Ramzan Id, Muharram,
Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali – Balipratipada and Guru Nanak Jayanti. It is important to note that trading
holidays are different from clearing holidays. Market does not open and trading does not take place on a trading
holiday while clearing holidays are the days when banks are closed but the market is open. Trading is done but
settlement does not happen on this day.
