Tata Consultancy Services: IT bellwether TCS reported an 8.7% surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹12,040 crore in the April-June quarter of FY25 as against ₹11,074 crore in the corresponding period last year. The revenue from operations stood at ₹62,613 crore in Q1 FY25, up 5.4% from ₹59,381 crore in the year-ago period.
Adani Wilmar: In an exchange filing, the Adani Group company said it has "entered into a share subscription and share purchase agreement for taking a majority stake of 67% in Omkar Chemical Industries Private Limited (OCIPL), Gujarat".
Vodafone Idea: At an extraordinary general meeting, shareholders of the third-largest telecom operator in India approved a preferential issue to its vendors Ericsson and Nokia.
Infosys: Infosys Public Services, a North American subsidiary of Infosys, has received a contract from the Delaware Department of Labor to modernise the state's unemployment insurance tax, benefits, and appeals programs.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: The company increased its stake in Goodview Fashion Pvt. Ltd. to 51% from 33.5% for ₹127 crore. Goodview Fashion manufactures and sells ethnic couture under the Tarun Tahiliani brand.
Brigade Enterprises: The real estate developer announced the launch of 948 one-bedroom apartments in Bengaluru, with a potential revenue of over ₹400 crore.
