Equity benchmark indices SENSEX and NIFTY bounced back sharply on Tuesday after six days of slump following a rally in index heavyweights HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and Mahindra & Mahindra. The 30-share BSE SENSEX climbed 584.81 points or 0.72% to finish at 81,634.81. The NSE NIFTY rose 217.40 points or 0.88%to 25,013.15.

FMCG firm Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) has said it expects a "flattish" earnings growth in the domestic market during July-September quarter as higher palm oil prices added to input costs.

RITES announced that the company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for an order from Ntokoto Rail Holdings. The order is $5.4 million and is expected to be executed within 6 months. Following the announcement, shares of the company were trading higher by 1.3% at ₹299.7 per share on Tuesday.

Realty firm Keystone Realtors Ltd on Tuesday reported a more than two-fold jump in its sales bookings to ₹700 crore during the second quarter of this fiscal year on strong housing demand.

Telco major Bharti Airtel and Finnish telecom and IT company Nokia on Tuesday said their collaboration to launch the 'Green 5G' initiative is aimed at improving energy efficiency on Airtel's mobile network and reduce its carbon emissions by 143,413 metric tons of CO2 annually.
