NIFTY50, SENSEX close in green as Reliance, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra gain; Stock Market Highlights

The NIFTY Financial Services (-0.09%) closed in red. The index was dragged by REC Limited, HDFC Asset Management Company and LIC Housing Finance.

The BANK NIFTY (-0.04%) index closed in red. Sell-off in Federal Bank, AU Bank and IDFC First Bank dragged down the index.

Benchmark indices – NIFTY50 (+0.15%) and SENSEX (+0.14%) closed in green, supported by Reliance, Tata Steel and Mahindra and Mahindra. Out of the NIFTY50 space, 21 stocks are advancing. Tata Steel, M&M, JSW Steel are among top gainers, while UPL, Tata Consumer Products and Titan are top losers.

Shares of Delhi-based Servotech Power Systems jumped 2.1% to $83.90 on Monday after the company received a substantial order from Nashik Municipal Corporation to supply and construct 20 Electric vehicle charging stations.

Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) Limited has received an order worth ₹67.50 crore from the National Small Industries Corporation Limited.

According to an exchange filing, Jindal Drilling will buy jack-up rig 'Jindal Pioneer' from Discovery Drilling Pte. Ltd (a joint venture of the company) for $75 million, subject to regulatory approvals.
