An SIP instalment is missed either when the balance in your bank account is insufficient at the time of deduction or your SIP is not linked to your approved AutoPay.

However, you may choose to make a one-time investment of the same amount in the same mutual fund for the current month.

Steps to pay your missed SIP instalment

Step 1: Log in to the Upstox app and access the Mutual Fund section directly from the Home screen.

Step 2: Upon selecting 'Explore,' you will encounter various criteria to explore and choose the fund.

Step 3: Select the fund (for which you missed the SIP) and tap on ‘One-time’.

Step 4: Provide the necessary details corresponding to the missed SIP installment and proceed with the payment.

Note: In some funds, one time investments may not be possible.
