J Kumar Infraprojects rises on bagging ₹334-crore order from NBCC for DTC depot in Delhi

Shares of J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd gained more than 2% on Monday after the company announced bagging an order worth ₹334 crore from NBCC (India) Ltd.

In a filing to the stock exchanges, J Kumar Infraprojects said that the company has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) by NBCC (India) Limited, pertaining to a project for the development of Hari Nagar Depot of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis. The company bagged the project as the sole bidder.

The total cost of the project is ₹334.25 crore and it will be executed within 24 months from the date of commencement of work, the company informed the stock exchanges.

Earlier this month, J Kumar Infraprojects secured a contract from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) for a coastal road project. The order pertained to construction of a coast creek bridge connecting Ghansoli and Airoli areas in Navi Mumbai. The project will be executed under EPC mode and the total cost of the project is ₹492.99 crore.

In another filing, the company said that its joint venture, J Kumar-SMC, received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for a project worth ₹1,329.71 crore for construction of an elevated road corridor connecting the Eastern Freeway to the Grant Road area.

J Kumar Infraprojects, a civil engineering and infrastructure development company, specialises in the construction of roads, flyovers, bridges, railway buildings, sports facilities and airport runways.

Shares of J Kumar Infraprojects closed 1.7% higher at ₹608 apiece on NSE.
