Domestic markets started the week on a weak note, with benchmark indices closing lower for the second consecutive session. NIFTY 50 closed at 22,272 level, down 1.1% while BSE SENSEX lost 845 points. BSE SENSEX fell 1.14% on Monday’s trading session. Broader market indices NIFTY Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 also under performed, down 1.57% and 1.73% respectively.

1. Anand Rathi Wealth

Anand Rathi Wealth closed 4.76% higher at ₹4,200 on NSE. The company reported fourth quarter net profit of ₹56.6 crore in an exchange filling. During the same quarter, revenue from operations rose 29% YoY to ₹184.3 crores. It also announced buyback of equity shares worth up to ₹164.65 crore and a dividend of ₹9 per share for FY24. 2. Adani Green Energy

Adani Green Energy shares closed 3.45% lower at ₹1819 per share despite reporting robust operational performance. Its operational capacity for FY 2024 increased by 35% on YoY basis to 10,934 megawatts. It also revealed that sales of energy rose 6% in FY24 for the solar portfolio while it shot up 71% for the wind portfolio. Read more

3. Ambuja Cements

Ambuja Cements closed 0.14% lower at ₹608 on NSE. The company in its investor presentation outlined Adani Cements plans to capture one-fifth market share by FY28. Its plans are supported by upbeat demand, especially from infrastructure segment, group synergies and nominal raw materials cost. The company also announced its purchase of Tuticorin grinding unit for ₹414 crore from My Home Industries. Read more

4. Ramkrishna Forgings

Ramkrishna Forgings closed 2.60% higher at ₹706.80 on NSE. The company announced receipt of orders worth ₹270-crore for Vande Bharat trains. The stock rose about 5% intra-day trade, before paring gains. The order involves developing and validating the bogie frame for the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat trains. Read more

5. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation was the top performer on the exchange. It closed 5.80% higher at ₹281.10 on NSE, after touching intraday high of ₹282.68 in the afternoon trade. Brent Crude prices eased at $90/barrel on hope of contained Israel-Iran skirmishes. Read more
