What to Do If 'Total Margin/Available to Trade' Isn't Updated After Fund Deposit?

If your available funds are not updated after depositing funds, please follow these steps:


  • Refresh your app or page once the payment is completed.
  • Some payment modes may take longer to reflect in the payment history. Please check the payment turnaround time (TAT) for the fund update.
  • Check for any announcements by Upstox regarding technical downtime.
  • Review your payment history and transaction status. If the transaction has failed, any deducted amount will be refunded to your bank account within 5 to 7 working days. You will need to re-add funds using an alternative payment method.
  • On non-trading days, such as Saturdays, Sundays, or exchange holidays, server maintenance may cause temporary inaccuracies in the displayed funds within the app.
  • Funds transferred to your Upstox account between 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM will be updated by 8:00 AM.


We recommend verifying your available/total funds during market hours or after 8:00 AM for accuracy.
