If your orders are not fully executed only partially executed, it could be due to liquidity issues in the market. When you place orders using the ‘Pick Strategy’ flow, you are allowed to only place market orders.
If your orders are only partially executed due to illiquidity, a ‘Retry’ button will appear. Click on that button to resume the execution of the order by sending it to the Exchange again.
In case of partial execution of orders, you can manually ‘Retry’ the orders. If retrying does not work, you can cancel the order and re-enter the position.
If the orders are still partially executed at the end of a trading session, then Upstox will automatically cancel the remaining unexecuted orders and close the executed ones.
Orders are partially executed due to liquidity issues, so avoid trading illiquid options so that your orders are instantly and fully executed.
If you observe high volatility in the market, then avoid placing options orders, as there is a high chance that your orders will end up being unexecuted.
You can place Limit Orders when you build your own options strategy. This gives you more control over the execution price of the options, but does not guarantee the execution of your orders.
