What is KRA?
KRA stands for KYC [Know Your Customer] Registration Agency. It is registered with SEBI. The KRA maintains KYC records of the investors, centrally, on behalf of capital market intermediaries registered with SEBI.
When you choose to open a hassle-free, paperless account, you only need to provide your Aadhaar and PAN details. Upstox then fetches your details from the KRA system to auto-fill your application form through a secure e-KYC system.
