What is Indicative Yield in bond investments?

The indicative yield represents the approximate annual return that investors can expect when purchasing a Government security. It is based on the actual yields of Government securities that were available for bidding in the previous week.

Does the Actual Yield Always Match the Indicative Yield? While the indicative yield provides a close estimate, the actual yield may vary slightly due to market fluctuations. However, it is highly likely that the actual yield of the Government security will remain close to the indicative yield. Important Note:

The indicative yield is provided for comparison purposes only. The actual yield may be higher or lower than the mentioned estimate.
