What are the AMO (After-market order) timings?

Below are the AMO timings for your reference:


NSE & BSE EQ (Equity): 4:05 PM to 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM to 8:58 AM

F&O (Futures & Options): 3:31 PM to 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM to 9:13 AM

CDS (Currencies): 5:01 PM to 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM to 8:58 AM

MCX (Commodities): 5:00 AM to 8:58 AM


Note: AMO orders are placed in the Pre Open Session.

Hence, certain Orders/Scripts which do not qualify for placement in the Pre Open Session would get rejected by the Exchange. Example – IOC Orders, Disclosed Quantity, Exchange Traded funds, etc.
