What to Do if 'Total Funds/Available to Trade' Are Not Updated After Depositing Funds?

If your available funds are not updated after depositing funds, please follow these steps:


  1. Refresh your app or page once the payment is completed.
  2. Some payment modes may take longer to reflect in the payment history. Please check the payment turnaround time (TAT) for the fund update.
  3. Check for any announcements by Upstox regarding technical downtime.
  4. Review your payment history and transaction status. If the transaction has failed, any deducted amount will be refunded to your bank account within 5 to 7 working days. You will need to re-add funds using an alternative payment method.
  5. On non-trading days, such as Saturdays, Sundays, or exchange holidays, server maintenance may cause temporary inaccuracies in the displayed funds within the app.
  6. Funds transferred to your Upstox account between 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM will be updated by 8:00 AM.


We recommend verifying your available/total funds during market hours or after 8:00 AM for accuracy.
