If you need to change your signature on your Upstox account, please follow the steps below carefully:

Note:

• Please submit each request on a single modification form, and avoid combining multiple request types on the same form. This will help us process your requests efficiently.
• Please fill out a separate form for each request. Don’t include different kinds of requests on the same modification form. For example do not submit Name and Signature modification using one form, use 2 different forms.
• Each request will be processed one after the other, with an individual turnaround time of 2–3 working days.
• When submitting a Signature Modification request, do not include any address information in the modification form.
• Only mention the specific details that need to be updated and leave all other fields blank, as instructed.
• Changes related to address, email, or mobile number must be submitted online through your Upstox profile.

Step 1: Download and Fill the Account Modification Form.

1. Download the Form

• Click here to download the account modification form.

2. Fill in the Following Fields:

• UCC Box: Enter your 6-digit User ID.
• Client ID Box: Enter your 8-digit Client ID (Demat account number provided via email when you opened your account).
• First Holder’s Box: Write your name.
• Details Column: Write "Signature".
• Addition/Modification/Deletion Column: Write "Modification".
• Existing Details Column: Draw your old signature.
• New Details Column: Draw your new signature to be updated.
• Declaration Section:
  * Write your name under the "First Holder" box.
  * Draw your old signature under the "Client's Signature" box.

Step 2: Obtain a Signature Verification Letter from Your Bank.

1. Get your updated signature verified by your bank on the bank’s letterhead. 2. Follow the format provided here: Signature Confirmation by Bank.

Step 3: Self-attest a Copy of Your PAN Card. Ensure you sign the copy with your updated signature.

Step 4: Submit the Documents. Courier the following to the address below:

1. Filled Account Modification Form.

2. Signature Verification Letter from Your Bank.

3. Self-Attested Copy of Your PAN Card with the Updated Signature.
