Generating eDis TPIN through Upstox:

Step 1: After logging into the Upstox trading platform, navigate to ‘Accounts’ and then ‘My Account.’

Step 2: Click on the ‘Profile’ section.

Step 3: Under ‘Generate TPIN for eDis’ section, click on ‘Get New PIN’. You will receive it on your registered email id and mobile number.

Generating TPIN From CDSL website:

Step 1: Visit the following link: https://edis.cdslindia.com/home/generatepin

Step 2: Enter your BO ID (your Demat Account Number) and PAN details

Step 3: To find your BO ID / Demat Account Number, log into the Upstox Mobile app and click on the Account Section > My Account / the Name on the top left-hand corner.

Step 4: Click on ‘My contact details’ and scroll down to ‘Demat Details’ to find your 16-digit Demat account number.

Step 5: After entering these details, CDSL will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID (the one linked with your Upstox account). Enter the OTP.

Step 6: After entering the OTP, click on ‘Next’, CDSL will now send you the TPIN via SMS and email on your registered mobile number and email id.

Step 7: Once you receive your TPIN, you can use it to authorise any sell order placed on your Demat holdings along with an OTP.

Step 8: You can also set a TPIN of your choice by setting your TPIN using this link. Enter the new TPIN and click Submit.
