What is Single Wallet?

Transition to a Single Wallet for All Segments – Effective 19 July 2025

At Upstox, we are simplifying how you fund and manage your trades.

Starting 19 July 2025, you will no longer need to maintain separate wallets for Equity and Commodity trading. With the launch of a Single Wallet, you can use a common balance across Equity, F&O, Currency, and Commodities.

What’s Changing?

  • Earlier: Separate wallets for Securities and Commodities
  • Now: A single unified wallet for all segments

What does this mean?

1. One Wallet, More Flexibility

Add funds once and use them across all segments, Securities, F&O, Currency, and Commodities, without any additional steps.

2. No Action Required

This change is automatic. Your existing balances will be consolidated, and from 19 July 2025, you will be able to view and manage your funds in one wallet.

3. Reports Update: Post Single Wallet Transition

While downloading ledger reports, you will now see three categories:

  • Trade: A combined report across all segments. This will be available from 19 July 2025 onwards and will be the default report moving forward.
  • Securities and Commodities: These legacy wallet reports will be available only for transactions made up to 18 July 2025.

Updated Fund Transfer Details

Going forward, use only the following bank details for fund transfers via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS:

  • Bank Name: HDFC Bank
  • Account Name: Upstox Securities Pvt Ltd - USCNB A/C
  • Account Number: 57500001411011
