Below is the process to redeem your SIF (Structured Investment Fund) units.

Option 1: Rematerialise Units and Redeem via AMC

You can choose to convert your SIF units from demat form to physical form (rematerialisation), and then directly approach the respective Asset Management Company (AMC) to place your redemption request.

Steps:

1. Initiate a rematerialisation request for your SIF units.
2. Once the units are converted to physical form, contact the respective AMC.
3. Submit a redemption request with the AMC as per their process.

Option 2: Update DDPI and Request Manual Redemption

Alternatively, you can authorise us to process the redemption on your behalf by enabling DDPI.

Steps:

1. Update the DDPI (Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction) for your demat account. DDPI charges would be applicable for DDPI activation.
2. Ensure that the DDPI is successfully activated.
3. Write to our support team at support@upstox.com requesting redemption of your SIF units.
4. Our team will process the redemption manually for you.

Note: Please check with the respective AMC to confirm when your SIF units can be redeemed, as each fund house accepts redemption requests only on specific days.
