How to Check the Orders in Upstox TradingView?

To check your orders, go to Dashboard and in the menu select 'Account'. Then click on the 'Orders' tab. Here you will find all your orders categorised as per their current status.


Understanding different tabs of order,

All tab

This is your complete order history in one place. Every order you have placed, be it pending, executed, cancelled or rejected, will appear here.. Use this tab when you want to see everything at once without filtering.


Working tab

Shows all your pending orders that are currently active in the market. These are orders waiting to be executed, like limit orders that have not yet reached their target price or stop-loss orders waiting to trigger.


Inactive tab

Displays orders that are inactive or expired. For example, if you placed an order with day validity and it did not get executed by market close, it will appear here. These orders are no longer active in the market.


Filled tab.

These are orders that were successfully completed. Your buy or sell orders that actually went through at the exchange. Check this tab to confirm which trades are done.


Cancelled tab

Shows orders you cancelled yourself or that were cancelled by the exchange. Maybe you changed your mind about a trade or the exchange cancelled it due to some reason like market closure. Either way, these orders were never executed.


Rejected tab

Displays orders that were rejected before reaching the exchange. Rejections can happen due to various reasons, like,

  • Insufficient funds or margin
  • Invalid price or quantity
  • Risk management checks by Upstox RMS
  • Exchange-level rejections


If you see orders here, check the rejection reason to understand what went wrong.


All tabs update in real-time, so you always have current information about your order status!
