Changing the address linked with your Upstox account is quite simple and can be done with just a few steps. The following procedure will update both your permanent and correspondence addresses seamlessly.

Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or biometrics.

Step 2: Click on ‘Upstox Icon’ at the top left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Click on ‘My account’.

Step 4: Click on ‘Profile’.

Step 5: Click on ‘My Address’.

Step 6: Click on ‘Edit Address’.

Step 7: Click on ‘Continue with Aadhaar verification’ to update your permanent and correspondence address.

Step 8: Enter your Aadhaar number, verify captcha and click on ‘Next’.

Step 9: Enter the OTP received on the Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on ‘Continue’.

Step 10: Click on ‘Allow’.

Step 11: Click on ‘Continue’. Your permanent address and correspondence address will be updated based on your Digilocker records after a successful exchange update.

Step 12: Review your address and click on ‘Proceed’.

Step 13: Click on ‘Take a photo’.

Step 14: Verify your application with Aadhaar, click on ‘Sign application’.

Step 15: Click on 'Sign’.

Step 16: Enter your Aadhaar number and click on ‘Send OTP’.

Step 17: Enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify OTP’.

Your request is being processed and it will be completed within 3-4 days.

Note: A fee of ₹50 + GST will be deducted from your trading account for any changes made to your address.
