If you’ve initiated an account closure request but haven’t completed the E-Sign and OTP verification, you may face issues with buying and selling across all segments. This includes investing in Mutual Funds, applying for IPOs, updating your address, managing trading segments, updating bank details, and even adding/editing a nominee.

In such cases, you’ll need to cancel the account closure request before making any changes.

Please follow the steps below to cancel the account closure request:

Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or Biometrics.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Upstox Icon’ at the top left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Click on ‘My Account’.

Step 4: Click on ‘Profile’.

Step 5: Scroll till the end, choose ‘Account Closure’ under ‘Profile'. This will redirect you to the closure page.

Step 6: Click on ‘Cancel request’.

Step 7: Your account closure has been cancelled successfully, and inactive segments have been reactivated.
