How are capital gains from NCDs (Non-Convertible Debentures) taxed?

  • Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG): This applies if held for more than 12 months. Taxed at 12.5% without indexation.


  • Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG): This applies if held for less than 12 months. Taxed as per your income tax slab.
