Can I exit my T-Bills, SDLs, or Government Bonds before maturity?

Yes, Government securities can be sold before their maturity period. Once allotted, they are transferred to your Demat account and can be traded on the exchange, similar to stocks.

Note: The liquidity of Government securities in the secondary market varies for each security. However, it generally tends to be low, making it challenging to exit, especially in the case of Government bonds and State Development Loans (SDLs).
