No, not all strategies in the ‘Pick Strategy’ flow are hedged strategies. ‘Pick Strategy’ flow is categorised into two: Low-risk Strategies and High-risk strategies.
Low-risk strategies carry lower risk with lower return, while high-risk strategies involve higher risk and higher returns.
Here are the strategies under Upstox’s ‘Pick Strategy’ flow.
Bull call spread with low-risk and long call consisting of high-risk are included under bullish strategies.
Bear Put Spread carrying moderate risk and Long Put with high-risk are included in bearish strategies.
Under a volatile strategy, Long Straddle is included which carries high-risk.
In neutral strategies, Iron Condor with low-risk and short straddle with high-risk are included.
Among these Bull Call Spread, Bear Put Spread and Iron Condor are hedged strategies while Long Call, Long Put, Long Straddle and Short Straddle are unhedged strategies.
