How to open an account using Aadhaar?
You can open a demat account with Upstox in a few simple steps. Upstox provides a paperless account opening process that is hassle-free and fast.
You can complete the whole process online with Upstox. If you have an Aadhaar Card linked to your regular phone number, then you can open an Upstox account online. You need to have your existing and working phone number linked to your Aadhaar Card in order to receive the One Time Password (OTP).
You just have to fill the demat account opening form. Keep your documents handy because you’ll be able to upload your documents right then and there. Just make sure you have these documents with you to help move your account opening process faster.
You will require the following documents to open a demat account:
1. Aadhaar Card
2. PAN Card
3. Cancelled cheque
4. Latest Bank Statement with IFSC/MICR code mentioned on it.
5. Your photograph.
