Post authorisation is done at the end of the day because, by this time, the broker (i.e. Upstox) knows the pre-authorisation request has failed from CDSL. Also, the authorisation for all trades can be done in a single request. This will only take a few seconds, where you need to type in the OTP sent by CDSL to authorise your sell transactions.
