If you choose a UPI ID linked with the PhonePe app for your IPO application, you’ll need to complete the mandate block request within the app. As per the exchange guidelines, the mandate must be accepted by 5 PM on the IPO’s closing day.

Steps to complete the UPI mandate on PhonePe:

1. Open the PhonePe app after submitting your IPO application. A pop-up should appear immediately.

2. Select Set Autopay on the pop-up. You will see a screen showing the amount, validity, and repetition details of the mandate.

3. Click Pay to complete the mandate process. Enter your UPI PIN when prompted to authorize the transaction.

4. If you miss the pop-up, you can still find the mandate request under Alerts (bell icon) in the PhonePe app and complete it from there.

Note: Ensure you authorize the mandate before the 5 PM deadline on the IPO’s last day, or your application may not be processed.
