Construction major NBCC's subsidiary wins ₹368 crore of work orders

State-run construction major NBCC (India) Ltd's wholly owned subsidiary HSCC India has bagged multiple work orders worth around ₹367.92 crore, according to an exchange filing.
HSCC India has received as many as nine orders. Six of these work orders were awarded by the Medical Education & Ayush, Maharashtra, and three by Power Grid Corporation India.
NBCC shares ended 4.99% lower at ₹120.95 apiece on the NSE on Monday.
NBCC's exchange filing said the first order is for the upgradation of existing state government medical colleges to increase MBBS seats of UG/PG students at Government Medical College, Chandrapur. The project cost is earmarked at ₹50.32 crore.
The second order entails the construction of three lecture halls and 150 capacity boys and 150 capacity girls UG hostel at Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College, Dhule for ₹63.68 crore.
HSCC India will also construct an exam hall, museum hall, skill laboratory, central record room, education unit, child care unit and intern hostel at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, for ₹45.14 crore, as per the third order details.
The other three orders received from the Medical Education & Ayush, Maharashtra are for the construction of lecture hall, laboratories and demonstration room at Government Medical College, Nagpur, for ₹23.58 crore; construction of UG students hostel building (G+8th) floor at India Gandhi Government Medical College, also in Nagpur, for ₹54.94 crore and construction of three wards and a lecture hall at Government Medical College for ₹24.47 crore.
The orders received from Power Grid Corporation include the construction of township works under the North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project at Meghalaya for ₹34 crores, construction of township works under NERPSIP at Nagaland for ₹31.57 crore and construction of township works under NERPSIP for Power Grid Corporation at Mizoram for ₹40.22 crore.
