Q4 earnings season: TCS, Infosys, Bajaj Auto among 88 companies to announce results in April

India Inc is gearing up for the earnings season, with as many as 88 companies set to announce their earnings for the quarter ended March 2024 (Q4FY24) in the month of April itself.
India’s largest IT services exporter Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) will kick-start the earnings season on Friday, April 12. The IT giant’s fourth quarter results will be available on the company website as well as the stock exchanges NSE and BSE.
The company management is also scheduled to hold a conference call at 7 pm on April 12. TCS earlier informed the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors would also consider a proposal of final dividend, for the financial year ended March 31, 2024.
Indian IT firms are expected to report moderate revenue growth for the March quarter due to subdued demand scenario amid macroeconomic uncertainties.
Stock market investors would be keenly watching margin expansion and growth projections released by the tech firms to decide on the future course of action on the sector.
On Wednesday, April 17, companies including Angel One Ltd, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd and Tata Communications Ltd will announce their Q4 numbers.
On April 18 (Thursday), Infosys Ltd, Bajaj Auto Ltd, HDFC Life Insurance Co. Ltd, Mastek and Swaraj Engines Ltd will release their results.
On Friday, April 19, Wipro, HDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd, R S Software (India) Ltd and Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd will announce results.
Meanwhile, India’s largest private sector lender HDFC Bank Ltd will release its Q4 numbers on April 20. Persistent Systems Ltd would announce results on April 21.

Experts pointed out that the market rally is being driven by expectations of a stronger-than-expected earnings season and hopes of a continuing political stability post general elections.
The six-phase general elections will be held from 19 April till 1 June. The results will be announced on 4 June.
