The earnings season is underway, and an array of major listed companies are set to declare their results for the fourth quarter of financial year 2023-24 (Q4FY24). The firms that will share their quarterly performance metrics today (April 19) include Wipro, India’s third largest IT services provider; HDFC Asset Management Company, the mutual funds arm of HDFC Bank; Jio Financial Services (JFS), an arm of India’s top conglomerate Reliance Industries Ltd; and Vedanta-owned mining major Hindustan Zinc.

Before Wipro, the country’s other two IT majors, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys, declared their Q4 results on April 12 and April 18, respectively. While TCS posted a 9% YoY jump in net profit at ₹12,434 crore, Infosys recorded a 30% YoY surge at ₹7,969 crore.

List of major companies announcing Q4 results today

Here’s a look at the key companies that will declare their fourth quarter results today:

  • HDFC AMC: The Mumbai-headquartered firm, established in 1999, is one of the leading mutual fund investment companies in India.
  • Jio Financial Services (JFS): The company was demerged from parent entity Reliance Industries in August last year, and subsequently listed on the exchanges.
  • Hindustan Zinc: A subsidiary of Vedanta Limited, Hindustan Zinc is an integrated mining and resources producer of zinc, silver, cadmium and lead.
  • Wipro: The Bengaluru-based Wipro is one of the Big Tech companies of India, offering its software services to clients across the world. It was set up around eight decades ago, in 1945.
  • Benares Hotels: Incorporated in 1971, the hospitality company operates luxury hotels such as Taj Ganges and Nadesar Palace in Varanasi and Ginger Hotel, Gondia in Maharashtra. In 2011, it became a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company.
  • Amal Ltd: Founded in 1974, Amal Ltd is a chemical company that manufactures and sells Sulphur-based products. It is based in Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
  • Elecon Engineering: The company, operating since 1951, manufactures industrial gear and material handling equipment. It is headquartered in Anand, Gujarat.
  • KP Green Engineering: It is a Mumbai-headquartered full-service EPC company that designs and constructs process plants in the chemical, syngas, terminal, and refining industries. The firm was founded in 2003.
  • Sejal Glass: A flagship of the Sejal Group, Sejal Glass is a major player in the Architectural Glass business. It is based in Mumbai, and has been operating since 1998.

Meanwhile, the companies that are set to declare their results on Saturday (April 20) include HDFC Bank, Bhansali Engineering Polymers and NB Footwear.
