PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 16th instalment release on Feb 28: What you need to know

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 16th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan) on Wednesday, 28th February, 2024.

Under the scheme, all landholding farmers' families are provided income support of ₹6,000 annually, payable in three equal instalments of ₹2,000, every four months.

For the 16th instalment release, eKYC is mandatory for farmers. They should also link their Aadhaar with bank accounts to ensure direct transfer of benefits to genuine beneficiaries.

Who is not eligible to get benefits under the PM Kisan scheme?

• Institutional landholders
• Farmers' families in which one or more members have ever held constitutional posts, whether they are former or serving government employees, and taxpayers
• Professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, and architects

• Visit pmkisan.gov.in
• Click on the status link
• Enter your registration id or mobile number
• Fill captcha code and other details and select 'Get Data' option.
