Som Distilleries gains after Excise Department nod; Stock Market LIVE Updates
Shares of the alcoholic beverage maker rose more than 4% today after receiving official approval from the Karnataka Excise Department for the supply of its premium beer brands in Tamil Nadu. This approval will help the company expand its reach and introduce new brands in high consumption markets like Tamil Nadu.
Last week, the company got approvals to expand its beer making capacity at the Hassan plant. Hence, plans to expand its operations in Tamil Nadu augurs well for the company.

MCX Gold hits new life time high; Stock Market LIVE Updates
MCX Gold futures scaled to a new peak today, touching a life-time high of ₹64,063 per 10 gm levels. Domestic gold prices gained after international gold prices ascended above $2,100 levels and hit a new life-time high of $2,151 per ounce today.
