Benchmark indices, SENSEX and NIFTY closed lower extending the losses for third straight day due to volatility triggered in the broader market by several global factors. The key indices closed in the red due to losses in global equities caused by tension the Middle East, mixed cues from China’s economic data and fading hopes of US rate cut.

NIFTY closed at 22,147.9 level, down 0.56% or 124.60 points. BSE Sensex mirrored a similar trend closing at 72,943.68 points, down 0.62% or 456.19 points.

Nuvama Wealth Management Limited: The stock extended the losses for second straight day and closed 1.87% lower at ₹5,191.75 apiece on the NSE.
