Juniper Hotels Ltd is expected to finalise the share allotment for its initial public offering (IPO) on Monday, February 26. The Juniper Hotels IPO was subscribed a little over 2 times during the subscription period that was open between February 20 and February 23. The company received bids for nearly 6 crore shares as against 2,89,47,367 on offer.

Juniper Hotels received bids for 67,22,880 shares against 52,63,157 shares on offer in the retail individual investors (RII) category. This portion was subscribed 1.3 times.

The quota reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIB) was subscribed 3.11 times with bids for 4,67,11,200 shares against 1,57,89,474 on offer.

The non-institutional investor quota of the Juniper Hotels IPO managed to get an 89% subscription. The company received bids for 66,80,080 shares against 78,94,736 shares available.

The allotment of shares in Juniper Hotels IPO will likely be completed on Monday, February 26. Credit of shares into the demat accounts of the successful bidders will be done on February 27 along with refunds for those who won’t be allotted shares. Juniper Hotels shares are expected to be listed on BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on February 28.

  • Open the official website of the registrar—https://www.kfintech.com/
  • Click on ‘investors’ under the product section on the homepage
  • Click on the IPO allotment link.
  • Click on any of the server links and you will be directed to a new page.
  • Click on Juniper Hotels from the dropdown menu under select IPO. The company's name will appear in the list only after the finalisation of allotment status.
  • Enter the required information like PAN details, IPO application number, DP/Client ID, and bank account details for customer identification.
  • Click on Submit.

Your allotment status will appear on the screen. For final allotments, the number of allotted shares will also be displayed on the screen.

Juniper Hotels IPO Details

Juniper Hotels IPO price band was fixed at ₹342 to ₹360 per equity share. The IPO is a 100% book-building issue comprising only fresh issue of shares aggregating to ₹1,800 crore. There is no offer for sale (OFS) component from any existing promoter or shareholder of the company.

Of the total issue size, the company had reserved 75% of shares for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). Another 15% is reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs) and 10% shares have been kept aside for retail individual investors (RII).

The retail investors were allowed to submit bids for a minimum lot size of 40 shares, amounting to a minimum investment of ₹14,400, and in multiples thereof. The maximum investment amount in the retail category for Juniper Hotels IPO is capped at ₹2 lakhs.

The company has appointed brokerages CLSA India Private Limited, JM Financial Limited and ICICI Securities Limited as the book-running lead managers.

The money raised through the IPO will be used by the company for financing its recent acquisitions (CHPL and CHHPL) amounting to approximately ₹1,500 crore and repayment of debts. Additionally, a part of the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes of the company.

Juniper Hotels conducted an anchor investment round on February 20, ahead of the opening of the IPO subscription. The company raised ₹810 crore from anchor investors.

Juniper Hotels operates and manages luxury hotel properties under the Hyatt brand. It is jointly owned by Saraf Hotels Limited and Two Seas Holdings Limited, an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Through its associate company, Hyatt holds a 50% stake in Juniper Hotels.
