Wipro appointed Malay Joshi as the CEO of its Americas 1 strategic market unit. The appointment of Malay Joshi was announced by Srinivas Pallia, Wipro's new CEO. The Americas 1 strategic market unit provides 31% of the entire revenue of Wipro, making it the company’s largest and fastest-growing business unit.

Srinivas Pallia, CEO of Wipro said, “Malay has been leading one of the largest business units at Wipro and has delivered the highest CAGR over a decade across multiple global businesses.” He further added, “Malay is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of success. His deep understanding of the IT industry and his strong client relationships will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business in the Americas.”

Before getting appointed as the CEO, Joshi served as the Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for communications, Media, Tech, Retail, Travel, Hospitality and Public Sector industries. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering. He is a graduate professional from Harvard Business School’s Leading Global Businesses Executive Program and Advanced Program Management from Stanford University.
