The Company operates a steel melting shop to produce semifinished products, such as billets, along with a rolling mill to produce wire rods and hard bright (HB) wires. The Company is using Electrotherm equipment for its induction furnace and Armec engineering machinery for its block mill. The Company's primary products are billets, wire rods, binding wire and HB wire. Its wire rods are used in nails, wire, power industry and others. Its billet is used in rolling mills, infrastructure and others. It produces different sizes of wire rods ranging from 5.5 millimeters (mm)-12mm as per customer requirements. It manufactures HB wire ranging from eight Standard Wire Gauge (SWG) to 12 SWG sizes in thickness from 1.0mm to 3.5mm. It produces binding wire of 20 gage and 22 gage. The Company's integrated steel plant is located at Durgapur, West Bengal.
