Its other applications are in the electronics industry, polymer manufacture, cosmetics, pharmaceutical antiseptic, sterilization, dye oxidation, starch modification, and antichlor. In the electronic industry, solutions of hydrogen peroxide and sulfuric acid are used in etching of printed circuit boards and in other cleaning and etching processes throughout the industry.
