Velan Hotels Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the business of providing hospitality services including running restaurants with a bar. Its flagship property is Velan Greenfields in Tirupur; it also operates the Velan Coonoor in the Nilgiris, the Velan Food Park in Coimbatore, and the Uthara Restaurant in Tirupur. The Velan green fields has 70 centrally air-conditioned rooms and offers a variety of relaxing dining options: the Rainbow Bar, the Windows Terrace Restaurant, the Windows Restaurant, Bhavani Coffee Shop and Angara - a tabletop live grill barbeque restaurant. The Velan Food Park offers three levels of meeting space. Rich Dine on the first floor can seat up to 50 guests; its second-floor meeting space flavors can accommodate 40 guests and the roof top barbeque can seat 40 guests. The Uthara Restaurant offers an executive buffet lunch and ala carte dinners-a range of carefully selected Indian, Continental, and Chinese dishes.
