About HINDUSTAN ORGANIC CHEMICALS
Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited is engaged in the business of industrial chemicals and chemical intermediates. The Company's products include Phenol, Acetone and Hydrogen Peroxide. Phenol is an organic chemical, which is used to produce a variety of chemical intermediates, including phenolic resins, caprolactam, alkyl phenols, adipic acid and plasticizers, Phenol is also used in the manufacture of preservatives, disinfectants, lubricating oils, herbicides, insecticides, and pharmaceuticals. Acetone is a commercial solvent and raw material with usage in the chemical explosives and lacquer industry. It is used as a solvent for cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, celluloid, cellulose ether, chlorinated rubber, various resins, fats and oils, and as an absorbent for acetylene gas. Hydrogen peroxide is used in the paper and textile industries for bleaching purposes as a substitute for hazardous chlorine. It is also used in the electronics and metallurgical industries.
