This division focuses on designing and producing a variety of equipment like parallel shafts, right angle shafts, helical and spiral bevel helical gears. These products serve sectors such as sugar, cement, chemical, fertilizer, steel, plastic extrusion and rubber industries.
Under this division, Elecon manufactures a range of products including belt conveyors, stacker-cum-reclaimers, pusher cars, idlers and pulleys, barrel-type blender reclaimers and ship loaders.
Elecon operates a unit in Vallabh Vidynagar, Gujarat, where the company manufactures wind turbines.
Beyond its computerised numerically controlled machines, Elecon also has sophisticated gear profile testing machines, a comprehensive testing and calibrating laboratory and vacuum spectrometers for rigorous chemical analysis of raw materials.

The net profit after tax for FY23 was ₹237.49 crore compared to ₹140.49 crore during the previous year.
