CE Info Systems Limited, also known as MapmyIndia, is a technology company which was founded in 1995. The company specialises in data and technology products and platforms, providing digital maps through services such as Map as a Service (MaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). The company also developed India's first internet mapping platform mapmyIndia.com, now known as Mappls.com, in 2004.
The company launched a pan-India GPS navigation system in 2007, providing comprehensive navigation solutions. It introduced a map and location API platform in 2015. The company launched real-time maps of vaccine centres on the Co-WIN platform amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. Taking its services globally, in 2022, MapmyIndia released the Mappls global platform, featuring integrated maps of over 200 countries.

Business Operations
MapmyIndia is India’s leading provider of sophisticated digital maps, geospatial software and location-based Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The company mainly has two business segments – map and data products, and platform and IoT products. The two contribute around 60% and 40% to the revenue.
In the map and data products vertical, MapmyIndia provides maps that accurately depict the real world in both 2D and 3D, continuously updated in near real-time to provide the latest information on places, location-based events, safety alerts, road conditions, live traffic and weather.
Within the platform and IoT products, MapmyIndia provides a range of services. These include map, location and navigation platforms, GIS (Geographic Information System), geospatial analytics Geo-AI Products and Platforms.
The company's digital maps include 6.5 million kilometres of roads in India, accounting for close to 99% of the country's road network. The digital map data offered by MapmyIndia delivers location, navigation and analytics for more than 7,900 towns, over 6,37,000 villages and approximately 23 million locations.
It also covers 19 million house or building addresses. MapmyIndia has mapped over 17.79 million places and captured addresses for more than 14.51 million locations.
MapmyIndia has signed MoUs with many government bodies including the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), NITI Aayog, the National eGovernance Division and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The company has catered to over 2,250 enterprise customers since its inception and served 850 customers in the fiscal year 2023.
MapmyIndia has two offices in India and two abroad (US and Japan). It offers services in all states and Union Territories of India and internationally, it has a presence in eight countries. The company extends its digital mapping services beyond India, catering to countries such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, UAE and Egypt.
