When you place orders via the ‘Pick Strategy’ flow, you may see the ‘Retry’ button on the orders in three cases.
If the order fails due to insufficient funds, then you can add the funds needed and go back to the orders and click on the ‘Retry’ button to resume your order execution.
When the order sent to the Exchange is stuck due to liquidity issues, you will see the ‘Retry’ once it becomes liquid.
Due to high volatility, your order’s execution may be missed. In this case, the ‘Retry’ button will appear to resume the execution.
The retry option is available for both fully and partially unexecuted orders.
You can retry an order only within market hours, as after market hours, Upstox automatically cancels once the trading session is over.
You cannot modify any orders that are already placed, even if they are unexecuted. You can only ‘Cancel’ or ‘Retry’ the unexecuted orders.
With Upstox’s ‘Pick Strategy’ Flow, you can place only market orders and not limit orders. Hence, if the orders aren’t placed due to liquidity issues, you get the option to retry.
