Is there any chance my MTF (Margin Trading Facility) conversion request could be rejected?

Yes, MTF conversion requests may be rejected under certain conditions like,

1. Insufficient Margins - The available margin in your trading account is lower than the estimated margin required for the conversion.

2. Insufficient Pledged Quantity - The pledged quantity available under MTF is less than the quantity you’ve requested to convert.


To avoid rejection,

  • Ensure your account has sufficient margins before placing the request.
  • Do not manually square off MTF positions after submitting a conversion request.
