About Avience Biomedicals Limited
Established in 2019, Avience Biomedicals is a medical consumables and diagnostics company involved in manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products, rapid test kits, reagents, analyzers, culture media and other medical devices, as well as trading and distribution of diagnostic equipment.
The company has been established under the brand name, "Avienbio". It manufactures its products from an owned manufacturing facility located in Uttar Pradesh. The company also plans to expand its manufacturing and has received an allotment of 2,100 sq. mtr. commercial plot in Medical Device Park, YEIDA along with 1,000 sq. mtr. industrial plot in Yamuna expressway.
The company has scaled up its product basket from primarily COVID-related diagnostics kits to include dengue, malaria, HIV, HBsAg, HCV, syphilis, typhoid and pregnancy rapid test kits, molecular diagnostics, culture media, biochemistry reagents, electrolyte analyzer, oxygen concentrator and lab consumables along with being a trader of diagnostics instruments and an authorized channel partner to some of the leading diagnostics equipment brands.
The business has a diversified customer base including B2B distributors/traders, B2C hospitals and diagnostic laboratories and B2G government entities. The sales revenue comprises various sources, and B2B and B2C sales each hold over 45% of the sales revenue.
The sales revenue for the period ended on January 31, 2026 is made up of 45.3% B2B sales, 45.2% B2C sales, 7.8% government sales, and 1.8% export sales. Capacity utilisation for the rapid test kits is 84.1%. The manufacturing capacity for rapid test kits has grown significantly since FY23 and the utilization of this manufacturing capacity as of January 2026 is 84.1% compared to five lakh tests utilized during FY23. Analyzer manufacturing utilization was 80.6%, while reagent and consumable manufacturing utilization was 85.2% for the period ending January 31, 2026.
Majority of the sales revenue originates from North India with the two major states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh combined contributing over 76% of total sales revenue as of January 31, 2026. The sales revenue was attributed to Delhi by 42.2% and Uttar Pradesh by 34%. The company is actively engaged in building a foothold in export markets. It has recently entered into the African market, by beginning operations in Somalia, and has received the approval for their products from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA).
