Organogenesis Holdings Inc., a regenerative medicine company, develops, manufactures, and commercializes products for the advanced wound care, and surgical and sports medicine markets in the United States. The company's advanced wound care products include Affinity and Novachor, which are amnion and chorion placental allografts for use in the care of chronic and acute wounds as protective barriers and extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffolds; Apligraf, a bioengineered bi-layered skin substitute for the treatment of venous leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers (DFU); Dermagraft, a dermal substitute grown from human dermal fibroblasts to treat DFUs; NuShield, a dehydrated placental allograft and surgical barrier to provide a protective barrier and ECM scaffold to support native healing; PuraPly Antimicrobial (AM) and PuraPly SX, which are antimicrobial barriers for the management of open wounds in surgical settings; and CYGNUS Dual, a dual-layered amniotic tissue graft used to treat chronic and acute wounds. It also provides PuraPly MZ, a micronized version of PuraPly for the management of open wounds in surgical settings; FortiShield, a biosynthetic wound matrix for use as a temporary protective covering; TransCyte, a bioengineered tissue scaffold that promotes burn healing; and PuraForce, a bioengineered porcine collagen surgical matrix for use in soft tissue reinforcement applications. In addition, the company develops ReNu, a cryopreserved suspension, which is in Phase 3 trial, for the management of symptoms associated with knee osteoarthritis; and placental products. It serves hospitals, wound care centers, government facilities, ambulatory service centers, and physician offices through direct sales representatives and independent agencies.
