About BioVie Inc. Class A

BioVie Inc is a clinical-stage company developing drug therapies for the treatment of neurological and neurodegenerative disorders and liver disease. Its therapeutic areas include Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Long COVID, Ascites, Longevity, and Epigenetics. In liver disease, its investigational drug candidate BIV201 (continuous infusion terlipressin) was granted FDA Fast Track status and FDA Orphan Drug designation for ascites due to all etiologies except cancer. BIV201 is being evaluated as a treatment option for patients suffering from life-threatening complications of liver cirrhosis and ascites due to hepatitis, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, and alcoholism.
