About Unitec Fibres Limited
Unitec Fibres IPO will be open for subscription between 23 and 25 September, 2026. Incorporated in 2005, the company manufactures Recycled Polyester Staple Fibre (RPSF). It procures PET flakes, PET chips and other polyester waste, processes the inputs into fibre, and customises colour and density to customer requirements.
The company’s RPSF is used in automobile components, home furnishings and textile applications. The product range covers 0.9 to 20 denier in solid and hollow forms, including hollow conjugated fibre, hollow high-bulk fibre, dope-dyed black and other coloured polyester staple fibre, solid fibre and down-type fibre. In FY26, RPSF contributed ₹219.85 crore, or 98.04% of revenue from operations; other operating revenue contributed ₹4.40 crore, or 1.96%. RPSF's share increased from 96.63% in FY24 to 98.04% in FY26.
Unitec Fibres operates two RPSF manufacturing units in Maharashtra, with current combined installed capacity of 27,984 MTPA. Combined production was 23,546.25 MT in FY24 and increased to 25,422.34 MT in FY26; utilisation was 92.3% and 90.8%, respectively. It has also acquired about 47,494 square metres at Anklas, Valsad, Gujarat and is establishing Unit 3 for RPSF production.
In FY26, domestic sales contributed ₹201.78 crore (89.98%), exports ₹20.55 crore (9.16%) and other operating revenue ₹1.92 crore (0.86%). Export contribution moved from 6.1% in FY24 to 15.8% in FY25 and 9.1% in FY26.
Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu contributed 20.3%, 15.6% and 13.8% of FY26 revenue; Bangladesh, France, Germany and the United Kingdom contributed 3.8%, 2.1%, 1.7% and 1.5%. The company procures all raw materials from domestic suppliers; it sells domestically to end-user industries and traders, and in export markets through merchant exporters and commission agents.
By customer industry in FY26, home furnishings contributed 46.47% of revenue, automobiles 36.14%, non-woven fabrics 10.25%, textiles 5.04% and rest by others. Home furnishings declined from 55.86% in FY24, while automobiles increased from 29.75%. Institutional buyers accounted for 99.15% of FY26 revenue. The company also generated ₹1.20 crore of EPR-credit revenue in FY26, down from ₹3.00 crore in FY24.
