About Roopa Screen Limited

Incorporated in 2013, Roopa Screen manufactures rotary nickel screens used as recurring consumables in rotary screen-printing machines, primarily by textile manufacturers. It offers standard, delta, penta and nova screens across different mesh counts and specifications.
The company also trades nickel cathodes, a key raw material for its screens; this activity supports manufacturing and is ancillary to the core business. It operates in a single business segment, Rotary Nickel Screen, and sells exclusively in the B2B market, mainly to textile printing units.
Manufacturing is currently carried out at Sanand, Ahmedabad facility. This facility had an installed capacity of 74,400 screens in each of FY24-FY26; actual capacity increased from 62,038 screens in FY24 to 71,800 screens in FY26, and utilisation moved from 83.38% to 96.51%. The Narol unit reported FY26 installed capacity of 10,200 screens, actual capacity of 6,800 screens and utilisation of 66.6%, but manufacturing there ceased from December 15, 2025 because certain statutory approvals were not held.
The company manages interim production through the operating Sanand facility and proposes to relocate machinery from the closed Narol unit to a new adjacent facility. The proposed project is expected to raise installed capacity from 74,400 to approximately 163,200 screens per annum and add 1,018 mm diameter screens to the current 640 mm, 819 mm and 914 mm range. The company also operates a godown in Surat and a sales depot in Panipat as stocking and distribution points.
In FY26, Penta screens accounted for 38.5% followed by Standard screens at 21.9%, Delta screens at 16.1%, Nova screens at 6.4% and traded nickel cathodes at 16.9% of product and trading revenue.
Between FY24 and FY26, the share of Penta screens declined from 42.2% to 38.5%, Standard screens from 31.5% to 21.9% and Delta screens from 20.9% to 16.1%; Nova screens increased from 3.9% to 6.4%, while nickel cathodes increased from 1.2% to 16.9%. In FY26, 99.69% of revenue from operations was domestic and 0.31% was export revenue from Sri Lanka. Gujarat contributed 58.93%, Maharashtra 17.30%, Haryana 11.31%, Punjab 6.72% and Tamil Nadu 2.32%; together these five states represented 96.58% of revenue from operations. The company served 210 customers in FY26.
