About Lohia Corp

Lohia Corp is one of the leading global manufacturers of machinery used in the technical textiles industry. The company mainly focuses on machines used for manufacturing polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) woven fabric and sacks, commonly known as the Raffia segment. The company held a 15.4% share of the global woven Raffia machinery market by value in 2024. It is also the market leader in India with a 40.7% market share by value in FY25 as per an industry report. The company had an annual installed capacity of 240 tape lines, 13,800 circular looms, and 108,000 tape winders, as of March 2026.
Incorporated in June 2023, Lohia Corp took its current form after a scheme of arrangement, under which the technical textile machinery business of Lohia Trade Services Limited (earlier known as Lohia Corp Limited), along with investments in five subsidiaries, was transferred to the company. As part of the restructuring, Kanpur Packaging Machines Limited was renamed Lohia Corp Limited, while the earlier Lohia Corp Limited was renamed LTS Holdings Private Limited. The business was originally established in 1981 as a joint venture between the Lohia Group and Maschinenfabrik Starlinger & Co., Austria. The company launched its first product, circular looms, in 1983, followed by tape extrusion lines in 1984 through a technical collaboration with Windmöller & Hölscher, Germany.
The company manufactures tape extrusion lines, circular looms, coating and lamination machines, printing machines, conversion machines, multifilament yarn machines, twister winders, monofilament extrusion lines, recycling machines and spare parts, which makes it an end-to-end solutions provider from concept to commissioning for customers in the Raffia industry. The company operates six manufacturing facilities. Four are located in India: two in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and two in Bengaluru, Karnataka, while the remaining two are located in Burlington, North Carolina (USA) and Como, Italy. It also operates a live experience centre in Kanpur where Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs) are manufactured.
Domestic sales contributed 57.82% of revenue from operations in FY26, while overseas markets contributed 42.18%. Among overseas markets, MENA contributed the largest share of revenue in FY26 at 12.22%, followed by Asia Pacific (excluding India) at 10.37%, Africa at 7.93% and North and South America at 6.61%. Within India, Gujarat remained the largest market, contributing 13.16% of revenue from operations, followed by Rajasthan at 7.71% and Uttar Pradesh at 7.45%.
Among product categories, circular looms contributed the largest share of revenue at 33.28% in FY26, followed by tape extrusion lines at 20.30% and other machines and equipment at 17.03%. The order book also grew to ₹1,358.52 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared with ₹828.46 crore as of March 31, 2025. The company served more than 2,000 customers globally in each of FY26, FY25 and FY24. The top ten customers contributed 12.63%, equivalent to ₹216.58 crore in FY26.
Capacity utilisation improved across most product categories between FY24 and FY26. Utilisation of tape extrusion lines increased from 29.58% to 49.58%, tape winders from 21.33% to 32.07%, and circular looms from 21.07% to 39.82%. Bag conversion machines continued to be highly utilised, rising from 81.25% in FY24 to 90.63% in FY26.
The global market for woven Raffia machinery is estimated at around $1,008 million in 2024 and is projected to reach $1,369 million by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 5.2%. The market in India is expected to grow to $242 million in FY30 from $150 million in FY25 at a CAGR of 10.0%. Recycling machines are another major focus. The company is looking at new opportunities as India’s recycling market is expected to grow from 9.9 MnT in 2023 to 23.7 MnT by 2032.
The company is the largest player in India and one of the leading companies globally in the Raffia machinery market. The global high-performance fibre market was valued at approximately $18.8 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow at 8–10% CAGR to more than $28 billion by 2030. The company also plans to strengthen its presence in conversion and processing machines, while expanding into high-performance fibres and monofilaments.
