The company is a vertically integrated contract farming business that primarily grows processing-grade potatoes, which it sells to processing firms for the production of French fries, chips, and other potato products. The company offers seed certification, agronomic support, and technical assistance through the life cycle of the crop from land preparation to harvesting.
The company’s business is based on a 100% buyback contract farming arrangement where farmers are guaranteed the purchase of all their crops at mutually agreed prices and quality standards. The company farms more than 5,660 acres of land and grows 61,680 metric tonnes of potatoes every year using 853 farmers in 4 districts in Gujarat. The number of farmers used increased from 498 in FY24 to 853 in FY26.
Santana is the biggest revenue generator, increasing its share from 16.60% of total revenues in FY24 to 54.62% in FY26. Seed sales accounted for 19.91% of total revenues in FY26. Lady Rosetta’s share dropped from 33.84% in FY24 to 10.54% in FY26. The company has an order book of ₹35.90 crore through five customers for Santana and Frysona varieties, with full realisation anticipated by March 31, 2027.
